From the memoirs of a nurse of the Federal State Health Service No. 2638 M. I. Kurapova:

During the war we had a chance to wander along the fronts. At first we belonged to the South, then to the South-West, then to the Stalingrad fronts. After the aerial bombardment at Art. From 25 to 26 July 1942, Aleksikovo hastily deployed evacuation hospital No. 2638 on the basis of the barns of st. Aleksikovo, collective farm yard x. Orlovsky and took about 200 wounded for treatment. All the wounded taken on July 30, 1992 were evacuated to another inpatient hospital No. 1411 in s. Sands. We were also listed in the 4th Ukrainian Front, as part of which we took part in the liberation of Crimea. After that, we were transferred to western Ukraine, from there to Poland.

- Sokolova (Kurapova) Maria Ivanovna [3]

From the memoirs of the captain of m / s FGLR No. 2638 M.R. Grichanova (daughter of Grechaniy, Roman Ivanovich ):

The fascist raid on Aleksikovo station on the way to Stalingrad struck into memory. A massive raid of German aviation bombed our military echelon with full armament. When the raid subsided, the surviving doctors opened a field hospital.

- Tatyana Timofeeva. The magic of numbers by Maria Grichanova [4]

From the award sheet to M. R. Grichanova (October 15, 1944) on awarding her with the medal “For Military Merit” :

In the city of Simferopol, it ensured that a large number of wounded were admitted to the hospital with quick and timely clearance, and also facilitated the clear evacuation of the wounded and the discharge of the recovered to the unit. In the city of Stanislav showed the same high quality work.
