Altwiller is located 330 km east of Paris , 45 km east of Metz and 4 km south of St. Avold . On the territory of the commune flows Nid-German.
History
- The ruins of the ancient Roman villa rustica .
- In the Middle Ages, Altwiller belonged to the diocese of Metz and belonged to Wick .
- Together with the region of Three Bishoprics in 1552, it was subordinated to France, and in 1648 it became part of France in the Westphalian world .
