Biography
He was born on December 9, 1925 in the village of Tarbievskaya, now Priluzsky district of the Komi Republic, into a peasant family. Russian. Member of the CPSU / CPSU since 1952. He graduated from 8 classes. He was a laborer on a collective farm.
In 1943, he was drafted into the Red Army by the Priluzsky military enlistment office. Member of World War II since September of the same year.
Shooter of the 988th Infantry Regiment, Private Nikolai Yerilov, about 18 kilometers north-east of the urban-type settlement Velikaya Aleksandrovka from February 29 to March 3, 1944, while repelling seven enemy counterattacks, exterminated eleven Nazis. By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated March 10, 1944 "for exemplary performance of command assignments in battles against Nazi invaders", Red Army soldier Yerilov Nikolai Grigoryevich was awarded the Order of Glory of the 3rd degree.
The commander of the 988th Infantry Regiment’s regiment, Sergeant Nikolai Yerilov, holding the line on the night of February 11, 1945, holding the line, repelled the enemy’s counterattack. Having gone on the attack with the fighters and bursting into the enemy trench, he defeated five Nazis and put down three machine guns. On the night of April 23, 1945, he was one of the first to cross the Spree River with the squad, started a battle in the enemy’s trench, and threw two machine guns with grenades, which ensured the advancement of the company. In street battles in the central part of Berlin on April 26, 1945, with a squad, he blocked enemy machine gunners who were seated in the basement of the house. Under his leadership, the arrows of 17 were destroyed, and 6 were captured. By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of May 15, 1946, "for exemplary performance of command assignments in battles against Nazi invaders," Sergeant Yerilov Nikolai Grigoryevich was awarded the Order of Glory of the 1st degree, becoming the full holder of the Order of Glory.
Until June 1950, foreman N.G. Erilov continued to serve as part of Soviet troops in Germany . In 1955 he graduated with honors from the Vorkuta Mining College. In the direction he left for the city of Stalin, Kemerovo region . All the years he worked in one place - at the Baidaevskaya mine. First, the master, then - the head of the Quality Department. In 1979 he left for singing. He lived in the city of Novokuznetsk.
Constantly participated in the public life of the city, delivered lectures to pupils and students. Several times participated in the Victory Parades on Red Square in Moscow , the last time - in 2000. He was a member of the Council of Veterans of the Great Patriotic War and Labor. In May 2005 he was awarded the title “Honorary Citizen of the Kemerovo Region”, and in 2007 - “Hero of the Kuzbass”. He died on March 18, 2007. He was buried at the Baidaevsky cemetery in the city of Novokuznetsk.
He was awarded the orders of World War 1 degree, Red Star , Glory of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd degrees, medals.
