Biography

In 1971 he graduated from the Faculty of Physical Education of the Kalinin State Pedagogical Institute. He worked as a coach in children's and youth hockey teams, was the head coach of the youth team " Tverichi ". Among his pupils: Honored Master of Sports, two-time world champion and Olympic champion of 2018 Ilya Kovalchuk , Honored Master of Sports, champion of Russia and the world Denis Denisov , Stanley Cup finalist, champion of Russia and VHL, world-class athlete among youth teams Roman Lyubimov .

In the 1997/98 season. He headed the Tver Hockey Club .

He was buried in the central alley of the Dmitrovo-Cherkassky cemetery in Tver.
