In 2008, 43% of Aisin's sales came from automobile transmissions ; The company is one of the "Big Three" specialized manufacturers of automatic transmissions (Aisin, Borg-Warner , ZF ). 20% of the products are components of brake systems, 18% are body parts, 10% are components of automobile engines [4] . In addition to Toyota, the company supplies components to plants of Audi , BMW , Chrysler , Daimler , Ford , General Motors , Honda , Hyundai , Isuzu , Kia , Mazda , Mitsubishi , Nissan , Suzuki , Volvo , Yamaha [4] . Toyota does not limit, but, on the contrary, encourages the supply of Aisin products to competitors' conveyors [5] . Secondary products of the company (total 4% of sales) - power plants, sewing machines, equipment for hospitals and life support for the disabled [4] .
In 1997, the company was sadly “famous” for the fire in the factory that produced brake valves. Due to the cessation of supplies, production stopped at Toyota factories, which produced more than 16 thousand cars a day; Toyota’s daily downtime was valued at $ 40 million. Toyota managed to mobilize valve production at the plants of 36 suppliers and more than 150 subcontractors within a few days, and a week after the fire launched conveyors again. Own Aisin plant only a month after the fire came to 60% of the pre-crisis release [6] .
In 2010-2014, the company's turnover, profit and sales profitability steadily grew [1] . The company's debt burden is typical for the automotive industry, however, accounts receivable turnover of 47.7 days and inventory turnover of 28.6 days are among the worst in the industry [2] .
