" Mergelatu, nicknamed" Yellow Rose " " ( rum. Seria Mărgelatu - Cycle of Mergelatu) - a series of five historical films made in Romania in 1980-1985 and telling about the adventures of Romanian revolutionaries of the middle of the XIX century . The first three films were directed by Doru Nastase; the next two are Gheorghe Vitanidis .

There is also a sixth film about Mergelatu , less known than the previous five, filmed in 1986 by director Mircea Moldovan. The main role in the films is played by Florin Piersik .
