Club career
Dauda began his football career in 2004 with the Okwahu United club, and in 2006 Dauda was signed by the Ghanaian Premier League club Ashanti Gold from his hometown of Obuasi . Dauda was a member of the all-star team of the Ghanaian Premier League 2007. July 5, 2008, Dauda was nominated for the goalkeeper of the year 2008 in Ghana. [2] In 2013, he joined the South African Orlando Pirates . In his debut season, he won the South African Cup ( Nedbank Cup ), his first title as a player.
Career in the national team
In 2008 he made his debut in official matches in the national team of Ghana . Now I have played 17 matches in the form of the country's main team.
As a member of the national team, he participated in the African Cup of Nations 2008 for the Ghanaians, where the team won bronze medals, as well as the 2013 African Cup of Nations in South Africa.
On May 12, 2014, Ghana's coach James Kwesi Appiah included Daud in a preliminary application of 26 players for the 2014 World Cup [3] , and on June 1 he was included in the final list of 23 players who will go to Brazil. [4] At the championship itself, he played 2 matches in the group stage, in which he conceded 4 goals. As a result, the Ghana national team did not reach the playoff round and only ranked fourth in the group. At the African Cup of Nations in 2015 was a substitute goalkeeper, instead of him at the gate took Brima Razak .
