Dzok Trun Trun ( dzong-ke བོ་ ཡིག་ ག ། ། མ་ རྫོང ; born 1964 ) is a Bhutanese writer and literary critic.

The first novel by Dzok Troon Truna Swollen Swallow, Green Tea Leaf was published in 2009 [1] . It addresses the topic of rapidly changing the infrastructure of Bhutan and opening the country to the Western world, and also describes the life of peasants outside the capital Thimphu , who, it seems, do not pay attention to what is happening around. The novel was awarded the Bhutan Novel of the Year - Silver Award 2009 Award , which is awarded by the Dzong Ke Development Commission .
Dzok Trun Troon often lectures at Queen's University of Bhutan on social issues such as Gross National Happiness and Buddhism . He was also an adviser to Prime Minister Jigme Tinley. [2]
In January 2013, Dzok Trun Trun was awarded the highest civilian award of the country - the Royal Order of Bhutan [3] .
