Biography
Born in 1904 in the village of Evdokimovka (today - Dobrovelichkovsky district of Kirovograd region , Ukraine ).
From 1929 he worked as an agronomist in the Talas district land department in the Chimkent region. Later he worked as an agronomist in the Lenger MTS. From 1942 to 1945 he participated in the Great Patriotic War. Returning to Kazakhstan, he continued working at the Lenger MTS, where he worked as a senior agronomist until 1951, after which until 1953 he was the chairman of the board of the Victory collective farm.
He was a delegate to the VI Congress of the Communist Party of the Kazakh SSR. Repeatedly elected deputy of the regional Council. He was a deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the Kazakh SSR.
He died in 1958.
Labor Activity
Working as an agronomist in Lenger MST, he participated in the development of field fertility. Thanks to his activities in 1947, within a radius of action of the MTS, which served 33 collective farms, 11 centners of wheat were collected from each hectare, which exceeded last year's harvest of 1946 by 3.4 centners. Some collective farms harvested more than 20 centners of wheat per hectare and 46 field-units — more than 30 centners per hectare. For this activity, Ivan Voloshchuk was awarded in 1948 the title of Hero of Socialist Labor.
