The Stable rural district is the abolished administrative-territorial unit that existed on the territory of the Volokolamsk district of the Moscow region in 1994-2006.

In the first years of Soviet power, the Popovkinsky village council of the Buigorod volost of the Volokolamsk district of Moscow province emerged [2] .
In 1926, the Popovkinsky s / s included 2 settlements - Bolshoi Popovikno , Maloye Popovkino, as well as 1 farm [3] .
In 1929, the Popovkinsky Village Council was assigned to the Volokolamsk District of the Moscow District of the Moscow Region.
On July 17, 1939, the villages of Remyagino of the abolished Remyaginsky s / s , as well as Buygorod and Glazachevo of the abolished Buigorod s / s entered the Popovkinsky s / s .
June 14, 1954 Botovsky s / s was attached to the Popovkinsky s / s .
On May 21, 1959, the village of Utishevo and the village of the central estate of the Steblevo state farm were transferred from the abolished Rechkinsky s / s to Popovkinsky.
On January 25, 1972, the Popovkinsky s / s was renamed the Steblevsky Village Council , and its center was moved to the village of Botovo .
February 3, 1994 Steblevsky s / s was transformed into Steblevsky rural district [4] .
During the 2005 municipal reform, the Stable rural district ceased to exist as a municipal unit. Moreover, all its settlements were transferred to the rural settlement of Kashinskoye [5] .
On November 29, 2006, the Steblevsky rural district was excluded from the accounting data of the administrative-territorial and territorial units of the Moscow region [6] .
