Bayram Pasha (? - August 26, 1638 , Urfa ) - Turkish military and statesman, governor ( balerbey ) of Egypt ( 1626 - 1628 ), the 94th great vizier of the Ottoman Empire ( 1637 - 1638 ).

Biography
Born in a Turkish family from Istanbul [1] [2] . According to other sources, his family came from Amasya. He studied at Enderun , after which he entered the Janissaries corps. Initially, captive Christian youths were recruited to the Janissaries , but during the reign of Sultan Murad III ( 1574 - 1595 ), the Turks were also allowed to enter the service in the Janissary corps.
In 1625, Bayram Pasha was appointed governor of Egypt. In 1628 he was summoned to Istanbul and promoted to the rank of vizier [2] .
In 1635 - the kaymakam of Istanbul . In February 1637, during the reign of Sultan Murad IV ( 1623 - 1640 ), Bayram Pasha was appointed the great vizier of the Ottoman Empire.
In 1638, the great vizier Bayram Pasha took part in the military campaign of the Turkish army, led by the sultan himself in Baghdad . August 26 of the same year, died near Urfa [3] .
He was married to Hanzadeh Sultan, daughter of Sultan Ahmed I.
