Biography
Linfield
William began his football career at the Linfield Club in Northern Ireland . The first few seasons, basically, came on as a substitute, gradually becoming a base player.
Finally secured a place in the first team in the 2004/05 season , scoring 27 goals in 43 matches. His game attracted the attention of the national team coach.
In the 2005/06 season, he became the top scorer of the championship, scoring 25 goals.
The following season he improved the result, scoring 31 goals in 51 matches. In the 2007/08 season, he managed to score 44 goals in 48 matches.
In the 2008/09 season, before joining the English Stockport County , Peter played the only game for Linfield, where his team lost to Zagreb Dynamo 2-0.
In January 2010, Linfield was taken on a six-month lease, and the 2010/11 season again again began to play for the Blues, marking his return to the championship as another victory in the scorers' dispute.
