Arzhanov, Dmitry Alexandrovich

Dmitry Alexandrovich Arzhanov was born on August 14, 1972 in the city of Gorky (now Nizhny Novgorod). He graduated from school No. 149. In his youth, he was a Komsomol activist.

In 1990, Dmitry Arzhanov entered the radio faculty of Nizhny Novgorod State University , but did not graduate from it, carried away by entrepreneurial and socio-political activities. In 1993, student Dmitry Arzhanov, already an assistant to the governor of Nemtsov, was appointed deputy chairman of the board of the Volga-Vyatka Prominbank, created with the money of Nizhny Novgorod businessmen and becoming an authorized bank for managing budget funds. In 1994, at the age of twenty-two, Dmitry Arzhanov was elected to the regional parliament and became the youngest deputy in the history of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod Region . In October 2009, he returned to Transneftservice S LLC, becoming the deputy general director of this development company. In the same year, Arzhanov bought from a part of the previous owners a 50% stake in Transneftservice S LLC, based on the valuation of the entire company at $ 120-150 million. On February 1, 2010, he was the General Director of Transneftservice S LLC. In 2011, Arzhanov bought out the remaining 50% stake, becoming the sole owner of the company.

Thanks to its acquisitions, in five years Transneftservice S LLC has become a holding company engaged in energy supply to the population and other consumers in eight regions of the country. At the end of 2011, the company's consolidated revenue exceeded 170 billion rubles. In August 2012, Transneftservice S LLC was transformed into TNS energo Group of Companies LLC. In May 2013, the company was incorporated , becoming the OJSC TNS energo Group of Companies. ^[four]

In December 2014, OJSC TNS energo Group of Companies was renamed to PJSC TNS energo Group of Companies.

In February 2017, Dmitry Arzhanov resigned as General Director of PJSC TNS Energo Group of Companies ^[5] .

Working in the energy retail sector, Arzhanov simultaneously engaged in agribusiness. In 2006, AF-Group, founded with his participation, began to buy land in the southern regions of Russia . At the end of 2012, the AF-Group controlled 57.5 thousand hectares of agricultural land in the Krasnodar Territory and Rostov Region , which were mainly used for rice cultivation . The company also owned two elevators that could store about 60 thousand tons of raw rice, and four cereal plants that could produce 300 tons of rice cereal. ^[6] In early 2013, AF-Group merged with one of the largest producers of packaged cereals in Russia - Angstrem. In 2011, Dmitry Arzhanov headed the board of directors of the Vietnamese company Vung Ro Petroleum Company Ltd. In 2013, the company presented two projects at once at the international investment forum for commercial real estate MIPIM Asia-2013. One of them provides for the construction of an oil refinery on the shores of Vung Ro Bay, Fuyen Province, which will produce 8 million tons of oil products per year. Vung Ro Petroleum is the first and so far the only enterprise in the fuel and energy complex of Vietnam that is 100% owned by a private foreign investor. The plant is included in the number of facilities ensuring the country's energy security. In addition to petroleum products, the plant will manufacture mineral fertilizers based on petrochemicals. In addition to the construction of an oil refinery, Vung Ro Petroleum Company Ltd intends to carry out a large development project on the shores of the same Vung Ro Bay, which will include the construction of marinas, hotels with more than 760 rooms, 4,300 residences and apartments, 100 townhouses, as well as a network shops and boutiques. The company was awarded the silver medal of the MIPIM Asia Awards. ^{[8] [9]}

In 2012, Dmitry Arzhanov was awarded the Order of St. Seraphim of Sarov III degree ^[10] for his great personal contribution to the creation of the third largest and most significant Orthodox bell in Russia, installed on the territory of the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Nizhny Novgorod in honor of the 400th anniversary of the feat of Minin and Pozharsky. ^] .

For his contribution to the development of the energy sector of the Republic of Mari El, Dmitry Alexandrovich Arzhanov was awarded the Order of Merit for Mari El of the II degree. He was also awarded the title of Honored Power Engineer of the Republic of Mari El.
