Physical Properties
Manganese telluride forms hexagonal crystals, space group P 6 3 / mmc , cell parameters a = 0.4146 nm, c = 0.6709 nm, Z = 2.
At 950 ° С, a transition to the phase of hexagonal syngony and a structure of the ZnS ( wurtzite ) type occurs.
At 1020 ° С, a transition to the phase of cubic syngony and a structure of the ZnS ( sphalerite ) type occurs.
At 1055 ° С, a transition to the cubic syngony phase occurs with both a NaCl type structure and cell parameters a = 0.6026 nm.
It is an antiferromagnet . At temperatures above 50 ° C - paramagnet .
