Story
The action takes place in alternative Japan, where the national railway system has never been privatized . Naoto Takayama is an ordinary high school student who has a dream of a comfortable life and work on the Japanese National Railways. He gets a job as a trainee for the security forces, where he has to deal with strange colleagues, including girls, some of whom do not like guys, such as Aoi Sakurai. Also in this world there is a certain organization of extremists, calling itself RJ (Rail Japan) , which is ready to privatize the railways with all its might. The main plot line is the confrontation between the security service and the RJ organization, during which Naoto and his friends are doing everything they can to prevent the privatization of the railway.

- Naoto Takayama ( 高山 直 人 Takayama Naoto ) is the main character of the series, a high school student who has transferred to the academy and dreams of working in the field of railways. He has feelings for Aoi and Haruki. The commander of the 4th detachment of the Tokyo Central Railway Guard Service.
- Seiyu : Jun Fukuyama
- Aoi Sakurai ( Japanese. 桜 井 あ お い Sakurai Aoi ) is the main character of the series. A student at the academy where Naoto transferred. Men can not stand, but subsequently falls in love with Naoto.

- Haruka Koumi ( Japanese: 海 海 は る か Koumi Haruka ) is a girl from a well-to-do family. Physically not very strong, but has a wonderful memory. In love with Naoto after he saved her, lost in the railway museum.

- Marie Sassho ( 札 沼 ま り Sassho: Mari ) is Naoto’s childhood friend. He works as a waitress in a favorite cafe of the squad. It has exceptional hearing, which is why it wears noise-canceling headphones.

Anime
In 2014, the upcoming release of anime adaptation based on manga was announced. The anime is called Rail Wars! Nihon Kokuyū Tetsudō Kōantai The Revolver . The release took place in July of the same year, from June 6, the first series were available on Nico Nico . The director was appointed director Sued Yoshifumi , and Suzuki Masashi took on the script, on the account of which the popular anime “Galactic Railways: Eternal Discrepancy” [10] . The musical parts for this anime were written by the composer Yoshiaki Fujisawa . The opening of Mukai Kaze ni Utarenagara was performed by seiyuu and singer Minori Tihara (on her account the openings Suisei no Gargantia and Kyoukai no Kanata ), and the ending Overdriver - ZAQ .
Video Game
Long before the anime series, an adventure game based on the ranobe developed by 5pb was announced . for PlayStation Vita . [11] The initial release of the game was to be held on November 27, 2014, but the game was canceled. January 28, 2016 5pb. and Mages. Inc. [12] announced that the game for the PlayStation Vita was canceled due to the fact that the development of the game is behind schedule, and other “different circumstances”. [13] [14]
