Biography
Born in 1903 in a poor peasant family in Korea. From the age of twelve he worked as a farm laborer with a local rich man. During the Civil War he participated in the partisan movement in the Primorsky Territory. He freed this land from counter-revolution. In 1936 he graduated from the Higher Communist Agricultural School in Khabarovsk, after which he worked as chairman of the Pioneer collective farm in the Primorsky Territory. After the deportation of Koreans from the Far East, she was in a special settlement in the Taldy-Kurgan region of the Kazakh SSR, where since 1938 he worked on the Leninsky Way collective farm in the same region. He was the secretary of the party organization of the collective farm. Since 1942 he was a member of the board of the Maxim Gorky collective farm.
He introduced a competitive moment into the work, dispersed the teams into certain areas. The board regularly summed up the results of the competition and identified the winners. Constant labor propaganda was carried out.
In 1945, the Maxim Gorky collective farm collected 15 centners of wheat per hectare with a plan of 10 centners and 314 centners of sugar beets per hectare with a plan of 270 centners, for which Kang Chu Hon was awarded the Badge of Honor.
In 1947, the Maxim Gorky collective farm led by Kang Tu Hon brought together 20 centners of wheat from 570 hectares and 30.5 centners of wheat from 30 hectares, as well as 500 centners of sugar wheat from 30 hectares.
The achievements of the Gorky collective farm were repeatedly exhibited at the All-Union Agricultural Exhibition .
