Caponina papamanga (lat.) Is a species of small spiders of the genus Caponina from the family Caponiidae . South America : Brazil ( Pair (state) , Belterra ). The length of the male is 3.1 mm; Karapaks - 1.15 mm; have 4 eyes (like Caponina testacea ). Millet and legs are brownish; abdomen is gray. The species Caponina papamanga was first described in 2013 by the Brazilian arachnologist Antonio Domingos Brescovit (p. 1959; Brazil , Institute of Bhutantan ) and the Cuban zoologist Alexander Sánchez-Ruiz ; Centro Oriental de Ecosistadas y Musical Historia Natural "Tomás Romay", Santiago de Cuba , Cuba ). Caponina papamanga is included in the genus Caponina Simon, 1891 along with Caponina chinacota , Caponina cajabamba , Caponina chilensis , Caponina tijuca , Caponina sargi and other species. The name of the species C. papamanga is associated with the nickname of local residents from the municipality of Belterra , who grow mangoes and where a type series was found [1] [2] .
