Paapan Reshtak ( Armenian .ահապան հրեշտակ ) is a guardian angel in Armenian mythology [1] .

According to the mythological ideas of the ancient Armenians , two pahapan hreshtaks have accompanied a person from the moment of his birth, one of which protects his soul, and the other - the human body. Sometimes pahapan hreshtak is identified with the angel of death ( hogear ), which leads to the court in the other world the soul of the deceased [2] .
