Fifi Turan ( Fr. Fifi Turin ), nee Josephine Cavallini ( Fr. Joséphine Cavallini ; April 7, 1913 , Marseille - August 5, 1944 , Fren) - French Communist, activist of the Resistance Movement in France.

Biography
Born in a working class family. From 13 years old, she worked at the SA des Filatures et Tissages de Marseille spinning mill in house 21 on De Vignes Boulevard (now Fifi Turan Boulevard) [1] in the La Caplette quarter. Participated in the trade union movement, distinguished by eloquence [2] . She joined the Popular Front and the French Communist Party , was a member of the World Women's Committee against War and Fascism.
After the Germans occupied the country in November 1940, Fifi was placed under house arrest in Tarascon, from where she fled. In Lyon, she joined the Resistance movement and began to work as a liaison under the pseudonyms "Germain" ( French Germaine ), "Helene" ( French Hélène ) and "Denise" ( French Denise ). In July 1943 she was arrested by the Gestapo, thrown into a prison in the city of Fren, and executed on August 5, 1944 .
She was buried in Marseille at the Saint-Pierre cemetery: the funeral was organized by the Communist Party of France [3] . In the 10th district of Sarcelles, her name bears the boulevard, and on the house 69 on the street De Vignes (now Del Bello), where Fifi lived, a memorial plate is installed.
