History
The place for the temple was chosen on the highest mountain of the area, and nearby is the existing rural cemetery .
The temple was founded no later than the 16th century. According to evidence, in 1675 in the village there was a decrepit wooden church of the Life-Giving Trinity. And in 1685, a new wooden church was erected by the zeal of the parishioners [1] .
The current stone church with a bell tower was erected in 1827 . The temple building is built in the style of classicism .
The main throne of the temple was dedicated to the Holy Trinity , the refectory was also located in the refectory [2] .
In the temple, the icons of the Holy Trinity and the Nikita Mother of God were especially revered.
In Soviet times, the temple was closed in the middle of the 20th century, the bell tower was destroyed in 1957, large holes were cut in the walls. A small piece of murals and ceramic floor tiles have been preserved.
Currently, in the summer, prayers are held in the temple. With the blessing of Archbishop Eulogius (now the metropolitan managing the Vladimir metropolis), restoration work began in the church.
