Roman Leopoldovich Vankovich ( Belor. Raman Leapoldavich Vankovich ; born February 1, 1937 , D. Deranaia, Stolbtsovsky district ) - an employee of Soviet agriculture, the collective farm "Red Star" of the Stolbtsovsky district of the Minsk region, Belorussian SSR. Hero of Socialist Labor ( 1973 ) [1] .

Biography
Since 1961 - the link mechanized link for growing potatoes on the collective farm "Krasnaya Zvezda" of the Stolbtsy district.
By the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of December 12, 1973, for the successes in productivity and harvesting of agricultural products, he was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Sickle and Hammer gold medal [1] .
Member of the Central Committee of the CPB since 1976. Deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the BSSR since 1975 [1] .
