SJM Holdings (Sociedade de Jogos de Macau Holdings) is a Hong Kong- based gambling, hospitality and catering company. It acts as an investment holding company through a branch of Sociedade de Jogos de Macau. It is the core and largest asset of the multidisciplinary group Sociedade de Turismo e Diversões de Macau (STDM) [1] . The main owners of the business empire of SJM Holdings / STDM are billionaire Stanley Ho and his immediate family [2] [3] [4] .

As of 2014, the market value of SJM Holdings was $ 16.5 billion, revenues - $ 11.3 billion, the company employed 21.4 thousand people. History
Sociedade de Turismo e Diversões de Macau (STDM) was founded in 1962 by (Ho Hongsan), (Yip Taqlay), (Yip Hong) and (Fok Intun), later became large gambling magnates. In 1982, Teddy Yip sold his stake in the company to Hong Kong businessman , founder of the New World Development group. Until 2002, STDM had a monopoly to engage in gambling business in Macau (after that, the Macao authorities began to issue licenses to foreign, mainly American casino operators). SJM Holdings was founded in 2006 (the company is one of six operators licensed by the Macao authorities to operate the gambling business in this special administrative region of China). In 2008, after lengthy litigation between Stanley Ho and his sister Vinnie, Sociedade de Jogos de Macau was able to enter the Hong Kong stock exchange [1] [9] .
As of 2011, the main owners of STDM were Stanley Ho (through Lanceford Company Limited) - 31.6%, Henry Fock (via Henry Fok Ying Tung Foundation) - 27%, Shun Tak Holdings (also included in the orbit of Stanley Ho) - 11.5%, Cheng Yutun - 10%, Winnie Ho - 7% and others - 12.9% [10] .
