History

Since 1937, a military airfield existed near the village of Sukovo, on which, at the time of the beginning of World War II , the 564th fighter regiment of the 6th air corps of the Moscow air defense zone was based. [one]

In 1963, the Research and Development Flight Testing Center (NILITS) was established at the airport, headed by Hero of the Soviet Union V.S. Grizodubova . In 1972, NILITS was transformed into the Scientific Production Association "Rise" - one of the leading enterprises of the Ministry of Radio Industry of the USSR. Field of activity of the enterprise: conducting flight tests and development of electronic devices. Since 1994, the NGO Rise has been an open joint stock company. [2]

Current status

The proximity to the main highways and metro allows you to effectively use the heliport and the territory of the NGO "Rise". Vzlyot Aviation Enterprise is a subsidiary of the Vzlyot NPO holding company. It carries out aviation activities in the status of a commercial operator of civil aviation, carrying out the transportation of passengers and goods, as well as a wide range of aviation operations using Mi-8 T helicopters in various regions of the Russian Federation. Helicopter equipment tests are being carried out with the aim of mastering high-precision construction and installation works using the Mi-8MTV-1 helicopter, as well as filing glades of overhead power lines using special helicopter saws and the MD-500D helicopter. The company, through its own aviation technical base, carries out all forms of maintenance for Mi-8 helicopters (both its own aircraft and in the interests of third-party customers). [3]
