Field prism binoculars B-8 is a portable binocular observation device, the main purpose of which is visual search, observation and study of objects. Designed in the USSR in 1935 . Due to the presence of a rangefinder scale, it can be used to estimate the distance to objects.

Options
- BI-8 is an infrared binocular designed for night fighting and equipped with a special phosphor screen in the focal plane of the lens of the left monocular for recording infrared radiation . In addition, the design of the top covers was changed in the binoculars, and a light filter in the frame and a screen switching handle were placed on the left monocular [1] .
