Olivier Daan ( Fr. Olivier Dahan ; born July 26, 1967 , La Ciotat , Bouches-du-Rhône France ) - French film director and screenwriter . His third film, Life in Pink , was one of the few French films that won two Oscars , including the first film in French .

Biography
In 1991, Daan received a diploma in art at the school of art of Marseille, then starred in several short films and videos. Has no professional cinematic education [3] .
In early 2004, he decided to make a film about the life of the French singer Edith Piaf . The film was a huge success, and actress Marion Cotillard won the Academy Award in the Best Actress nomination. After receiving the award she trusted Olivier Daana, and changed her life completely and as an actress. [four]
After the Oscar ceremony, Daan began working on an English picture in the road movie genre called My Love Song , which was released on April 7, 2010.
