Thirteen Senses ( eng. "Thirteen Senses" ) - British indie rock band, founded in 2001 in the city of Penzas ( Cornwall ). To date, the musicians recorded four full-length albums.

History
Initially, the band was called Soul Magician, and began its existence by the fact that the future frontman, Will South, wrote a few songs, showed them to his friend - Adam Wilson, who at that time was a guitarist in another group. He agreed to participate in the recording of these compositions, the other members of the group were Adam Welham and Brandon James. The first release of the group, called Inside a Healing Mind, the second, already under the current name of December 2002, changing the name to the current one, the band released a second mini-album - "No Other Life in Attractive".
In 2003, the independent demo album "Falls in the Dark" was recorded, thanks to which the group managed to sign a contract to record a new album with the recording studio Mercury Records. The debut album, called The Invitation, took the 14th line of the British charts. Of all the singles released for the album, Thru the Glass ranked the most popular with 18th place. Also, several songs were used as soundtracks for a number of TV shows.
The first half of 2005, the musicians spent on tour, performing at various festivals, including the "Maxidrome" in Moscow. The second half of the year was devoted to recording a new album , which, after several postponements and releases and changes to the original playlist, was released in February 2007. "Contact" did not repeat the success of the debut album, ranking only in the eighth decade of the British charts.
The third album " Crystal Sounds " was recorded in the period 2008-2010 and was originally available for download on the official website of the group. The release on physical media took place only a year later, supplemented by several new compositions.
In February 2013, the band announced the recording of a new record, officially announcing it in December. The concept album, called " A Strange Encounter ", was released on May 5, 2014. Unlike previous works, the compositions in the new album are united by the general sound style, more attention was paid directly to the instrumental performance.
