Chatham, Marie

Marie Chitham ( born Maree Cheatham , born June 2, 1942 ) is an American television actress with a career in daytime soap operas and prime time TV shows. She achieved the greatest fame thanks to the role of Maria Horton in the soap opera “ Days of Our Life ”, where she first appeared in 1965 and last appeared on screen in 2010. Chitham also had regular roles in “ Looking for Tomorrow ” and “ Main Hospital ” ^[1] .

Chitham has appeared in seventy television shows and several movies throughout her career. In prime time, she had a secondary role in the Quiet Wharf from 1992 to 1993. Among the notable guest appearances are the “ Smoke from the trunk ,” “ Nanny ,” “ West Wing ,” “ Desperate Housewives, ” and “ Pretty Women in Cleveland .” In 2013, she began playing minor roles in “ Sam and Kat ” and “ Zoe Hart from the Southern State ” ^[2] .
