VIII cohort of logs ( lat. Cohors VIII Breucorum ) - an auxiliary unit of the army of Ancient Rome, belonging to the type cohors quinquagenaria peditata .
Together with the VII horse cohort of logs of Roman citizens , the VIII cohort was formed during the reign of Emperor Caligula or Claudius from the people of the logs that inhabited the valley of the Sava River in Pannonia . Cohort guarded the border of the province of Lower Germany , but the exact location of its deployment is unknown.
