Papay (river)

Papai is a river in the south-west of the Krasnodar Territory , the left tributary of the Pshad River. The length of the river from the source to the confluence of the Pshada River is 15 km. The catchment area is 61.3 km².

Geography

The source is located on the southern slope of the Papaya Pass. In the tract Black Aul receives the Black River, a large left tributary. The large right tributaries are the Yablonovaya Slit and the Melnichny Stream.

In the middle course of the stream Melnychny, there are cliffs of the Monasteries and the picturesque Mill Falls. In the upper reaches of the Black River there are picturesque Papaya waterfalls.

In the middle reaches is the village of Novosadovy, Abinsky District, Krasnodar Territory [2] .
