“We Are One (Ole Ola)” is a song recorded by the American rapper Pitbull for the album “One Love, One Rhythm - The 2014 FIFA World Cup Official Album”. On January 23, 2014, FIFA and Sony Music announced “We Are One (Ole Ola)” as the official song of the World Cup [2] in Brazil. The song features guest vocals by Jennifer Lopez and Brazilian singer Claudia Leitte . The authors were Pitbull , Jennifer Lopez , Claudia Leitte , Thomas Troelsen, Danny Mercer, Sia , Dr. Luke , Cirkut and RedOne , and the producers are Dr. Luke , Cirkut and Troelsen. The song received negative reviews from Brazilians and football fans, in particular due to the insufficient use of Brazilian and football themes in the song [3] [4] . Later, the song received minor changes using the drums of the Afro-Brazilian group Olodum and came out as a separate single. The same version was used to create the clip. The composition experienced moderate commercial success, reaching the top twenty in countries such as Italy , Spain , Germany , France , Austria and the host countries of the 2014 World Cup Brazil .

In May 2014, a Russian cover version of the song [5] was recorded - “Raise Your Flag” performed by rapper Miroslav Strok and vocalist Anna Pyantina.
History
On January 22, 2014, FIFA and Sony Music Entertainment announced that “We Are One (Ole Ola)” will be the official song for the FIFA World Cup . Pitbull became one of the songwriters and invited Jennifer Lopez to participate, who also liked the composition, which he was very proud of. Since the World Cup was held in Brazil , there was an invitation and a Brazilian performer. They became Claudia Leitte , who performed a verse in Portuguese. And later, after criticizing football and especially Brazilian fans, the song was changed, albeit insignificantly: the characteristic drums of the Afro-Brazilian band Olodum, who had previously participated in Michael Jackson ’s composition “ They Don't Care About Us ”. It was the version with the Olodum group that became the basis of the music video for the song. All versions of the song (original and Olodum Mix) were released in separate singles. The opening ceremony of the World Cup was preceded on June 12, 2014 at the Arena Corinthians stadium in Sao Paulo , preceding the Brazil-Croatia match, where the song was performed live, and later, on June 26, it was released as a separate single on iTunes [6] .
Video
In February 2014, Pitbull , J. Lopez , C. Leitte and Olodum took part in the filming of the video, which took place in Fort Lauderdale , Florida . The main concept of the video was to represent the carnival in Brazil , where Pitbull, Lopez and Leitte participated and sang, and the Olodum Mix version of the song was used as musical accompaniment. The official release of the video on Youtube took place on May 16, 2014 and collected more than 200 million views in 2 months.
