Biography
Born on July 27, 1857 in the village of Osechenitsy in the family of Zhivoina and Anna Vuich.
He finished elementary school in the village of Krčmar, two classes of a gymnasium in Belgrade, then became a novice at the monastery of Bogovadje.
On June 25, 1877, he was tonsured as a monk at the Vratevshnitsa monastery, and on the same year, on December 11, he became a hieromonk .
Metropolitan Michael took him to Russia, where he graduated from the Kiev Theological Academy with a Master of Theology degree .
Upon returning to the Balkans in 1889, he became a teacher at the Prizren Theological Seminary .
He was in this institution the first rector of the spiritual title and with higher spiritual education. He established order in the dormitory of the seminary and in the educational part, and gained a love among the people with a peaceful and quiet character.
November 10, 1891 he was appointed Bishop of Timoka . Arranged in Belgrade.
He was sent to retire on June 15, 1913, and, having failed to improve the difficult financial situation of his subordinate priesthood during his administration, despite a number of administrative measures and efforts taken by him. He spent the rest of his life in the monastery of Hilendar on Athos, where he died on November 7, 1921.
