Description
Air-cooled quick release barrel. It is installed on the machine and serviced by a calculation of three people. It can be equipped with an optical sight for greater accuracy of fire, or night vision devices for combat in the dark. The machine gun has a tape power. [1] Operated by pistol grip and stock with shock absorber.
Automation works on the removal of powder gases from the bore and the rotary shutter. Like Type 77 , flue gas automation works without a piston. [4] Recoil is extinguished through the mobility of the barrel and receiver inside the machine gun body. With a short rollback of the moving parts, energy is transmitted to the lever accelerator. Together with the muzzle brake, this removes the main recoil force when fired. [2] [3]
It is one of the lightest heavy machine guns. [2]
