The overpass was opened on December 14, 2005 [1] [2] . Previously, to connect the Nevsky District with the Gunpowder, drivers used a crossing in the alignment of Solidarity Avenue and Mentors (now preserved).
The designer was Lengiprotrans OJSC, the general contractor was PO Renaissance CJSC. The length of the bridge with approaches is 716 meters, the trestle length is 430.7 meters, and the width is 35.8 meters.
On May 15, 2014, the overpass was named Russian [3] - along the avenue.
