Choristopsyche asticta (lat.) Is a fossil species of scorpion women of the genus Choristopsyche from the family Choristopsychidae . Found in the Jurassic deposits of China (Daohugou Village, northern China, Shantou Township, Ningcheng County, Daohugou Formation, up to 166 Ma, Callovian tier ). The length of the front wing is 20.4 mm and its width is 9.3 mm. The hind wing is 16.8 mm long and 10.0 mm wide. Abdomen 13.4 mm. The species Choristopsyche asticta was first described in 2013 by a group of Chinese paleoentomologists (X. Qiao, CK Shih, D. Ren, China ) together with the taxa Choristopsyche perfecta , Paristopsyche angelineae . The taxon Choristopsyche asticta is included in the genus Choristopsyche Martynov 1937 along with Choristopsyche tenuinervis , Choristopsyche perfecta [1] [2] .
