Algerian Sign Language ( Algerian Sign Language ; French Langue des signes algérienne , Arabic. لغة الإشارة الجزائر , Tamazight: ⵜⴰⵎⵙⵍⴰⵢⵜ ⵜⴰⴷⵓⴳⴰⵎⵜ ⵏ ⵍⴻⵣⵣⴰⵢⴻⵔ Tamslayt Tadugamt n Lezzayer ) is a sign language that is distributed among the deaf of Algeria [1] . The language was officially recognized by the Algerian Law on the Protection and Promotion of Persons with Disabilities on May 8, 2002.

Nothing is known about dialects. The language was influenced by the deaf community of the city of Oujda in northern Morocco. [2]
