Club career
Holland began his career with the Newcastle United Jets . On October 14, 2007, in the match against Wellington Phoenix , he made his debut in A-League [2] . In the same match, he scored his first goal for the Jets, becoming the youngest goal author in the Australian Championship. Then James signed a two-year contract with the team. In 2008, he helped the club win the A-League.
In early 2009, Holland moved to the Dutch AZ . The transfer amount was 650 thousand dollars. Due to the high competition, James was unable to make his debut for the new team and in 2011, he moved to Sparta Rotterdam in 2011 on loan. January 28 in the match against Roosendaal , he made his debut in the first division of the Netherlands Championship [3] . In the same match, he scored his first goal.
