Biography

Viktor Stepanovich Bryzgalin was born on February 23, 1941 , on the eve of the Great Patriotic War, in the city of Pavlograd, Dnipropetrovsk Region, Ukrainian SSR . Apparently due to well-known events, the family was forced to move to the Chelyabinsk region . It was there, in the city of Miass , that he entered a music school in the button accordion class (a student of I. A. Roslogo). After graduating from music school, he entered the Magnitogorsk School of Music (a student of V. T. Buravlyov and E. A. Kudinov. After graduating from the school, he entered the class of N. Ya. Chaikin at the Gorky Conservatory named after M. I. Glinka . He graduated from the conservatory in 1969 year accordion class

He began teaching in 1960 in the city of Emanzhelinsk, Chelyabinsk region. From 1964 to 1966, after serving in the army, he taught at the Kurgan Cultural Enlightenment School. Since 1966, he began working at the Kurgan College of Music (later GOU SPO "Kurgan Regional College of Music named after DD Shostakovich") as a teacher. From 1970 until his death, he headed the department of folk instruments of the same educational institution. In 1973-1977, Deputy Director for Academic Affairs.

Since 1972, member of the CPSU .

In 1973 he organized and for a long time led the "Trans-Ural Trio of Bayanists", in which in 1994 he received the Grand Prix at the 16th international competition of accordionists in Paris (France). He wrote several unique methodological works (“I play the button accordion,” “The First Polyphonic School,” etc.), which have no analogues in the whole world. He founded the international competition-festival “Friend button accordion”, the jury of which included outstanding musicians, composers, founders of button accordion, accordion schools of the USSR, Russia, and the CIS. He created the music publishing house Mir Not, with the goal of distributing new methodological literature, as well as new or unpublished works by famous composers (both old and modern).

Viktor Stepanovich Bryzgalin died in Israel , where he was being treated for cancer, February 20, 2014, before he reached his 73th birthday only three days. He was buried on February 28, 2014 in Kurgan at the cemetery [1] .
