Yuri G. Kondratiev (born October 23, 1953, Kiev , Ukrainian SSR , USSR ) - Ukrainian mathematician , professor at the University of Bielefeld , Germany .

1975 - graduated with honors from Taras Shevchenko Kiev University .
1979 - defended his thesis on the topic "Generalized functions in the tasks of infinite-dimensional analysis."
1987 - defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic "Spectral analysis of infinite-dimensional elliptic differential operators."
Since 1991, Yu. G. Kondratyev worked both in Ukraine ( Institute of Mathematics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine , Center for Interdisciplinary Studies of Complex Systems of NPU named after M.P. Drahomanov) and abroad ( Bielefeld and Bonn universities in Germany , University of Reading (eng. ) , England ).
In 1998 he was awarded the State Prize of Ukraine in the field of science and technology .
Key Results
Together with Yu. M. Berezansky, he wrote the monograph Spectral Methods in Infinite Dimensional Analysis (1988), translated into English Spectral Methods in Infinite Dimensional Analysis (English) (1995).
Together with S. Albeverio , Y. Kozitsky (Eng.) And M. Ryokner (Eng.) Is the author of the monograph “The Statistical Mechanics of Quantum Lattice Systems: A Path Integral Approach” (Eng.) (2009).
With S. Albeverio and M. Ryokner (English) began systematic research on spaces of continuous configurations, which are actively used by scientists around the world.
His name is the space of some stochastic generalized functions ( "Kondratiev space" (English) ).
