Research History
The tomb was discovered and known since antiquity, but it was only investigated in 1984-1985 by the Egyptologist Edwin Brock .
View
Being a typical burial place of its time, the tomb is stretched in a straight axis and decorated like other similar tombs of the pharaohs who ruled after Ramses III . It consists of four main parts: the entrance, passage, burial chamber with a sarcophagus and a small room at the end.
Ramses VII died in the seventh year of his reign and there is evidence that the original corridor was expanded to the final burial chamber, and the construction of the room at the end of the tomb was stopped. [one]
