An angular frog [1] , or a horned frog [2] ( Ceratobatrachus guentheri ) is a frog from the family Ceratobatrachidae . One of a kind. The Latin name is given in honor of the British zoologist Albert Gunther .

Appearance and structureThe head of the horned frog is triangular, flattened, very large, anteriorly elongated at the tip; numerous folds of skin on the head and back; the lower body is covered with small warts; the back behind ends with a point. Color varies greatly; the upper body is yellowish, brownish or reddish with a darker pattern; the hips above and the lower legs and legs are dark; bright yellow shoulders and groins; length 7.5-8.5 cm.
DistributionEndemic of the Solomon Islands .
DevelopmentThe tadpole stage takes place in the egg, so that an already formed frog leaves the egg.
