Sergio Castilla ( Spanish: Sergio Castilla ; born June 20, 1942 ) is a Chilean film director and documentary filmmaker.

Biography
Received a cinematographic education in Paris . In cinema since 1967. Since 1968 he taught film editing at a journalistic school in Chile . He participated in the presidential campaign of Salvador Allende , like other filmmakers who were members of the Committee of National Unity . In 1970, he staged the documentary " Micheta ." At the beginning of 1971 he began staging the film “ History ”, which he finished in Sweden at the end of 1973. He also shot the film “ I would like to have a son ” about the drawings of Chilean children, “ Pinochet: a fascist, a traitor, a murderer, an agent of imperialism ”, “ Red the rose of Camilla ”(1975) and others. Then, in 1979, he directed the film “ Disappeared Prisoners ”, which is based on evidence from Chilean prisoners.
