Geography

The municipality is located approximately 380 km southeast of Paris , 18 km north of Lyon , 45 km southwest of Bourke-en-Bres [1] .

In the west of the commune flows the Sona River, and in the south - the small river Gran Rieux ( French Grand Rieux ).

Climate

The climate is semi-continental [2] with cold winters and warm summers. Rains happen infrequently, mainly in the summer.
