Geography
The commune is located approximately 380 km south-east of Paris , 19 km north of Lyon , 45 km south-west of Bourke-en-Bres [1] .
In the south of the commune flow the small rivers and Torrier ( fr. Torrières ).
Climate
The climate is semi-continental [2] with cold winters and warm summers. Rains happen infrequently, mainly in the summer.
