Fan Zhendong ( Chinese ex. 樊振东 , pinyin : Fan Zhendong ; born January 22, 1997 , Guangzhou , PRC ) is a Chinese table tennis player . Four-time world champion, four-time world cup winner.

Sports career
In July 2013, for the first time entered the top ten best players in the world according to the ITTF rating [2] .
At the age of 17 years and 103 days he became the youngest world champion in the history of table tennis [3] , having won a gold medal in the Chinese team at the 2014 team world championship.
At the table tennis competitions at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, each country could be represented by three athletes, but no more than two in singles [4] . Fan Zhendong was one of the “victims” due to this restriction. Despite the fact that since November 2015 and at the time of the men's singles tournament OI-2016, the athlete occupied the 2nd place in the ITTF rating [5] , he was not allowed to participate in the men's singles tournament.
Fan Zhendong triumphs in singles at 8 stages of the ITTF World Tour .
In 2016, he won the World Cup singles.
In April 2017, Fan Zhendong won the Asian Championship in singles. [6]
In December 2017, Fan Zhendong won the ITTF World Tour Grand Finals singles in Astana [7] .
Fan Zhendong began the year 2018 with victories in the stages of the Hungarian Open and Qatar Open world tour and in April for the first time in his career took the first position in the world ranking [8] .
In May 2018, Fan Zhendong became the world champion for the fourth time, winning gold medals in the Chinese team at the World Championships in Sweden .
In October 2018, Fan Zhendong won the World Cup singles for the second time [9] .
