Biography
The ancestors of Alexander Trishin lived in central Russia. Father was born in 1893, mother - in 1898. Parents met in Armavir, later lived in Siberia . In 1927, a child was born to them in the village of Ordynsky (Novosibirsk Region).
According to the artist’s recollections, from about the age of 7 he began to draw cartoons and sketches from nature.
In 1936 the family moved to Novosibirsk , where the future painter went to school. In the school period, the artist began to paint portraits of Pushkin, Lermontov, Peter I in oil paints, later - copies from the works of Vasnetsov and Repin, then became interested in Greco-Roman subjects, etc.
Member of World War II .
In 1956 he graduated from the Kostroma Art College. His teachers were K.I. Ilyin, M.S. Kolesov and M.E. Dolnik. The artist’s diploma work - the painting “Found a Father” - was highly appreciated by the examination committee, it was acquired by the Kostroma Picture Gallery, the work was presented at a republican exhibition in Moscow (1956).
Since 1959 he took part in various regional, regional, republican, all-Union, foreign and international exhibitions.
After graduating from college, he returned to Novosibirsk, where he worked in the art fund of the Union of Artists of the RSFSR; his works appear in a harsh style . Creativity in this direction was for him a guarantee of rapid entry into the Union of Artists of the RSFSR. In 1964, the first work in a harsh style appeared - “Firefighters (End),” which was presented in Novosibirsk at the zonal exhibition “Socialist Siberia”. The next work in this direction was the painting "Hockey Players". The work was recognized and exhibited at the 2nd zonal exhibition "Socialist Siberia" in Omsk and the international exhibition in Mexico City . In 1967-1974, the artist creates 3 more works in a severe style: Road Workers, Forever With It and Siberia Under Construction, made with oil paints on canvas.
In 1968 he became a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR .
At the end of the 1960s, the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theater was in its heyday. During this period, a series of works on the theme of ballet appeared: “Ballerinas at the Machine”, “Rhythms”, “Ballerinas”, “Fatigue”, “In the Artistic Foyer”.
In 1982, the painting "The Church of St. Basil the Great" appeared, created thanks to a trip to Galich. 4 works on a galician theme - "Paisievsky Monastery", "Cathedral of the Archangel Michael", "Transfiguration Cathedral", "Trading Rows" - are stored in the collections of the Novosibirsk Art Museum .
