History
In the last century and at the beginning of the XX century, treasures of Tatar coins of the 14th century were discovered on the territory of the village of Semiluk, among which was Novgorod poltina with the inscription “Andko” with customs signs of Russian princes, burials and other finds. For some reason, archaeologists pass by or are silent about them. In 1389, the newly elected Moscow Metropolitan Pimen sailed across the Don, who met in the territory of the village of Semiluk with Yelets Prince Yuri, whose possessions ended at the village.
Burials and a treasure of the 15th century were found in the village of Semiluki, in which Dzhugite coins from the time of the Battle of Kulikovo were stored. In the village of Endovishche, fortifications dating back to the 15th – 18th centuries are also found.
In the 1920s, a commune was created in the village. Impressions of her are reflected in the novel by Andrei Platonov "Chevengur" [1] .
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by the Germans.
