Stalker is an American television series created by Kevin Williamson with Maggie Kew and Dylan McDermott starring on CBS in the 2014-2015 season . The plot focuses on detectives investigating crimes of persecution of people. The series premiered on October 1, 2014 with extremely negative reviews from each of the leading television critics who called Stalker one of the worst shows in television history [2] [3] . On May 8, 2015, the channel closed the series after one season [4] .

Production
CBS gave the green light to the filming of the pilot episode, produced by Kevin Williamson , on January 28, 2014. [5] On February 18, Liz Friedlander took over as director of the pilot episode [6] . Casting for regular roles also began in February. On February 28, Dylan McDermott was invited to a major male role [7] , and on March 19 it was announced that Maggie Kew had a lead role in the pilot [8] . Meanwhile, Mariana Klaveno got a female supporting role on March 6 [9] , and on March 20 Rasuk Victor a similar male one [10] .
May 9, 2014, CBS ordered the shooting of the first season of the series for broadcast in the television season 2014-15 [11] . On October 27, the channel ordered additional episodes to the standard thirteen [12] .
