History
In 2012, the stadium received a new life when the field leased the football club Lokomotiv (now Phoenix). In the same year, two hundred chairs for spectator stands were installed [3] . In total, 37,000 euros were spent in the reconstruction of the stadium [4] . Since 2014, Estonian Premium League football clubs have played on the field: Flora , Nymme Kalyu , Narva-Trans , Levadia , Kalev , Paide , Tammeka , Infonet , Kalev . In May, near the main field, a training field was opened for football players and citizens [5] . By the end of the 2014 Estonian championship, the question arose of reconstructing the stadium, as its current condition did not meet the established requirement of the Estonian football union, the second category. As a result, the local Lokomotiv team will not be able to continue playing on it next year [6] . In the summer of 2015, the Jõhvi Municipality Assembly allocated 100,000 euros for the renovation of the football field in order to meet the requirements of the Estonian Football Union for teams playing in the country's major league [7] . The reconstruction began in October and went through two stages. At the first stage, work was done on preparing the foundation for a new football field with a natural lawn and measuring 75 by 107 meters and a drainage system was built. On the second - laying a natural lawn on a football field. Tallinn Lemminkäinen Eesti AS completed the reconstruction in July 2016, and the total cost of the work amounted to 129,565.53 euros (excluding VAT) [8] [9] . In the same year, Lokomotiv spent 32 thousand euros to build new stands, designed for 540 seats [10] [11] , the installation of which took place in the fall [12] . The opening of the stadium took place in the spring of 2017 [13] [14] .
In 2018, the stadium's household building will be updated and expanded, new locker rooms for players will appear, a coaching and referee locker room, as well as two garages for club equipment will be made separately. In total, about 50,000 euros will be spent on these goals [15] .
In the spring of 2019, new substitute benches were installed [16] .
