Oborin, Anton Ivanovich

From 1917 to 1921, he worked at the Motovilikhinsky plant as a messenger and assistant turner for metal. Simultaneously with the work at the plant, he studied at the evening working school .

1922 - 1927 years - study at the Faculty of Agronomy Perm University .

Since 1930, he was in graduate school at the Biological Research Institute of PSU (specialty "Soil Science"). At the same time (since 1927 ), he worked as a soil scientist and leader of a soil detachment in expeditions of the Institute of Agrosoil Science " RAASHNIL " and Uraloblzu, participated in the Trinity and Kurgan expeditions, which carried out a soil-geobotanical survey of the Trans-Ural region ^[5] .

In 1932 he defended his thesis for the degree of candidate of agricultural sciences .

1932 - 1946 - associate professor and and. about. Head of the Department of Soil Science, Perm University . The scientific works of A. I. Oborin of that time became the starting point in the study of the soils of the Urals ^[6] , ^[7] .

1934 - 1938 - Head of the Trinity Forest-Steppe Reserve. Most of the experimental research conducted at its base. In the history of the reserve, A. I. Oborin has a special place ^[8] .

In 1937 - 1938 - Dean of Geology, and then in 1941 - 1942 - Dean of the Geology and Soil Faculty of the PSU . He inherited this position, and then transferred it to December 15, 1942 to G. A. Maksimovich (pr. No. 105 of December 16, 1942 ), later to a world-famous geologist. At the geographical faculty of today's university, A. I. Oborin is still considered one of its founders, who gave rise to the soil-geographical direction in preparing students ^[9] .

In 1941 - 1943 - Vice-Rector of Perm University for administrative and economic work. ^[ten]

1946 - 1948 - Head of the Agricultural Department in the Perm Regional Committee of the CPSU . Concurrently continued pedagogical work at Perm University .

1948 - 1950 - Associate Professor and and. about. Head of the Department of Soil Science at Perm University .

1948 - 1950 - Secretary of the Party Bureau of Perm University ^[11] .

1950 - 1957 - Director of the Institute of Natural Sciences at the University of Perm .

1957 - 1959 - Head of the Agrochemistry and Soil Science Sector of the Institute of Natural Sciences . At the same time he taught lecture courses in soil science and soil geography at Perm State University .

Since 1959 - Associate Professor , and since 1964 - Professor of the Department of Soil Science, PSU .

In 1963, after more than three decades of field experiments and testing of crops of various cultures, he defended his doctoral thesis on the topic “Reclamation of Saline Soils in the Forest - Steppe Trans - Urals ” at the Soil Institute of them. V.V. Dokuchaev .

The research results were used in agriculture of the Zauralye , the State Planning Committee of the USSR relied on these recommendations in the development of standards for the casting of solonetz ^[12] . Thus, A. I. Oborin made a significant contribution to the development of reclamation soil science.

1960 - 1965 - Dean of the Faculty of Biology, PSU .

From 1964 to 1974 - Professor of the Department of Soil Science, from 1974 to 1977 - Professor and Consultant of the Department.
