The airline has a certificate of operator A of the United Kingdom Civil Aviation Authority , which gives the right to transport goods, mail and passengers on aircraft with a capacity of 20 or more seats [1] .

The airline’s home port and its main transit hub ( hub ) is London Stansted Airport .

Titan Airways was founded in 1988. Currently, it is fully owned by one of its founders, Gene Wilson, who at the end of 2012 completely bought the rest of the property from the British investment company 3i [2] .

Initially, the carrier’s fleet consisted of one Short 330 turboprop aircraft with a passenger cabin for 33 seats.

The main customers of Titan Airways are investment groups, aircraft manufacturers, large automakers, football clubs, travel companies, cruise line operators and corporations working in the entertainment industry [3] .

The airline received several well-known awards, including the Royal Award to the country's best commercial enterprises in 2001 [4] . Since 2000, Titan Airways has been included in the list of the hundred best commercial enterprises of the Sunday Times newspaper four times [5] .

All aircraft of the airline are registered in the UK and are certified by the country's Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). [6] .

In addition to working under contracts for the transportation of VIPs, the airline carries out seasonal charter programs for travel operators in the UK. During the summer season, Titan Airways opens routes to Dalaman ( Turkey ), Turbo / Lourdes / Perenei ( France ), Figari and Calvi ( Corsica ). In the winter season, the direction of Chambery ( Alps ) opens [7] .
